The concept behind learning organization is that management is about making things happen. The skills that assist us towards competencies are about making our organisations successful. The new managers need to draw the path and develop processes for their team members to follow and understand the vision of the whole organization, therefore a new role is concocted – ledger. ‘Ledgers’ both lead and implement.
One characteristic of an effective leader is the ability to capture the imaginations of others and align these behind the organizational goals and priorities.
